Guardium Acid Reflux Control Tablets are used to help with symptoms of acid reflux, like heartburn and stomach acid coming back up. Each table has an ingredient called a "proton pump inhibitor." It reduces the amount of acid your stomach produces. This helps give relief from the discomfort of acid reflux and heartburn.
The tablet coating ensures the medicine stays intact until it reaches your small intestines. That is where it works the best. Doctors usually prescribe these tablets to people who have acid reflux often or all the time.

To take the tablet, just swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the tablet.

Adults 18 and older should take one tablet once a day. It may take 2-3 days of taking it daily to feel the full effect.

Do not take the Guardium Acid Reflux Control Table if you are allergic to anything in the tablet.

Do not take it if you're under 18.

Talk to your pharmacist or doctor if:
Ø You take other medications.
Ø You are over 55 and have new or worse reflux symptoms.
Ø Your symptoms don't feel better after 2 weeks.
Ø Keep the tablets away from children.
