What is Cystopurin
Cystopurin sachets help reduce the symptoms of cystitis and comes in delicious cranberry flavour. Cystitis is generally one of the most common urinary tract infections (or UTIs) that can be experienced by women. How do Cystopurin sachets work?
There is an active ingredient in Cystopurin Sachets (potassium citrate) that works to neutralise the acidity of your urine to make it more alkaline. This will allow you to pass urine with less pain and will reduce inflammation. The product will also cause you to go to the toilet slightly more frequently to flush the infection out of your system.
How should I take Cystopurin sachets?
Adults and children over 6 years of age suffering from the symptoms of a urinary tract infection should mix 1 sachet with 200ml of cold water (stir until the granules are completely dissolved) and drink the delicious cranberry drink immediately. Do this three times per day. This should be continued onto day two.
Your treatment should not last longer than two days, and no more than three sachets should be consumed in a 24-hour period. If symptoms worsen or persist, consult a medical professional.
Dosage instructions
Cystopurin sachets are available in the advertised dose only, with each sachet containing 3g of the active ingredient potassium citrate. A complete course of treatment will last 2 days with 3 sachets drinked per day, so 18g of the active ingredient will be consumed in total.
- Each sachet should be mixed with a glass of cold water and drinked immediately.
- Three doses should be taken per day as a maximum and taken for no longer than 2 days.
