Treatment Information
Overview
Regaine for Women 2% Minoxidil is a treatment for female pattern baldness. You can easily apply this topical solution to your scalp. Its active ingredient is 2% minoxidil which is a clinically proven medicine to reactivate hair follicles, stimulate regrowth, and slow further hair loss. It is not a cure for baldness and it may not work in all individuals.
Regaine is intended to be a long-term treatment. During the first month of use, you may experience increased hair loss. The positive effects usually start to appear after 1 month of use. After 4 months of continuous use, your hair growth will easily be noticeable.
If you respond well to treatment, you will have to continue to use it to maintain its effects. If you discontinue its use, you will lose the gained hair in about 3 to 4 months. Afterward, the rest of the hair may also start to fall as part of normal balding.
