FAQ
NHS Prescription Dispensing
We offer NHS prescription dispensing and repeat dispensing via the NHS electronic dispensing service (EPS). We operate from our pharmacy at 46 Woodgrange Road, London E7 0QH. We do not provide a face-to-face service and instead deliver the medicines anywhere in England for free.
When prescribed a medicine to treat one or a range of long-term conditions for the first time, we offer New Medicines Service (NMS) by phone, post or email. As part of this service our pharmacist will support you to use the medicine safely and to best effect.
Guidance on safe use of your medicines is available here.
Returning unwanted or unused medication
Please contact us on 020 7867 3932 to arrange return of any unwanted or expired medicines. You may also return unwanted or expired medicines to your local community pharmacy. Please note that we cannot accept returns of sharps e.g. needles.

An Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is a system which allows your GP to send your prescriptions directly to your nominated pharmacy, rather than you having to take a printed prescription to the pharmacy. Once your nominated pharmacy receives your electronic prescription, they can fulfil your prescriptions and have your medicines sent to you as quickly as possible.
Using our NHS prescription service is absolutely free. If you usually pay for your NHS prescriptions, you will only pay for the normal NHS fee (currently £9.90 per item), but using our service and delivery will always be free.
Nominating Click Pharmacy as your pharmacy is a simple process. You can register with our service by clicking the sign-up button at the top of this page. You will then be asked to answer a few simple questions together with your delivery address. You can start to use our NHS repeat prescription service as soon as you register.
You will need to provide answers to a few basic questions which includes your name, address, phone number, date of birth and whether you pay for your prescription. Once you have signed up to our service, we will be in touch with you if we require any further information, such as information about payment exemptions or setting up payment for your repeat prescriptions.
Please Note: We may ask for proof of exemption (non-age related) as part of our NHS contractual requirements for example a copy of the medical exemption card, details of Pre-payment card expiry dates etc.
Yes, you’ll still need to request your prescription from your GP when you need it in the same way you have always done. Once you have requested your medication, your GP will send your prescription to us electronically so we can fulfil it and have the medicines delivered to you right away.
For prescriptions received from your GP before 3pm, our pharmacy team will send it out the same day via tracked Royal Mail, depending on stock availability. We always use secure, discreet and unmarked packaging for all of our deliveries.
If we receive a prescription from your GP before 3pm we will usually send your medicines out the same day. However prescriptions received after 3pm will be dispatched the next working day. We use the tracked Royal Mail service which means that your medications will be with you within 24 - 48 hours after dispatch.
Yes, your medication can be delivered to any address of your choice in the UK. This can be your home, pace of work, to a neighbour or a member of the family. Normally, we will send your medications to the address that’s on your prescription, therefore if you want to get your medication sent to an alternative address you should do so by logging in to your account and updating your delivery address in your dashboard.
Our service is completely discreet and confidential. Your medical data and order history is always kept confidential and is only viewable by our pharmacy staff and prescribers. When dispatching your medicine we use discreet packaging without any branding or labels.
We comply with the Data Protection Act and the NHS code on confidentiality. If you want to discuss the records we keep, please give us a call on 020 7867 3932.
