Overview
Anadin Extra Tablets are specifically designed to treat mild or moderate pain and discomforts. These tablets provide short-term relief from toothache, nerve pain (neuralgia), headache, migraine, muscle ache, period pain, and sore throats. They also provide relief from cold and flu symptoms.
Containing caffeine, paracetamol, and aspirin, this triple-action formula treats symptoms of pain quickly and effectively. These tablets are also available in the form of solutions for those individuals who cannot swallow tablets.
Directions

These tablets are suitable for adults and children over 16 years of age.

Take 2 tablets for a maximum of 4 times a day.

If the tablets are designed for solution, take 2 tablets and dissolve them in a glass of water. Take 2 tablets four times a day, but no more than this.

No more than 8 tablets are to be taken in a 24-hour period.

If your pain does not get reduced after taking these tablets, consult your doctor.

Children whose age is less than 16 years should not use these tablets as they contain aspirin, which poses the risk of Reye's syndrome.

Side effects
The side effects which are commonly reported are easy bruising, bleeding, indigestion, sickness, heartburn, tremors, runny nose, breathing problems, skin colour changes, and a decrease in white blood cells.
Ingredients
Anadin Extra Tablets contain Aspirin (300 mg), paracetamol (200 mg), and caffeine (45 mg) as active ingredients.
Other ingredients included in the medicine are Maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, hydrogenated vegetable oil, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, polyethylene glycol, pregelatinised starch, and povidone.
