Overview
Stugeron 15 mg tablets is used to help avoid travel sickness and to relieve the symptoms of sickness, including nausea, vomiting, dizziness and vertigo. The active ingredient of this medicine is cinnarizine, an antihistamine that inhibits the signals from the inner ear to the vomiting center within the brain, thus treating motion sickness. Apart from this, Stugeron tablets are also used in the management of symptoms associated with balance disorders such as Meniere’s disease.

These tablets are suitable for adults and children above age 5.

Adults and children whose age is 12 years and above are to take 2 tablets two hours before travel. This dose should be followed by 1 tablet every 8 hours during the journey if they feel necessary.

Children with the age range of 5 to 12 years are to take 1 tablet two hours before travel, then ½ tablet every 8 hours during the journey.

Tablets should be swallowed whole with water.

Do not chew or crush the tablets.

For achieving maximum results, they should be taken after a meal or with some snack.

Do not exceed the limit of dosage recommended by the pharmacist.

You should not use these tablets for more than 7 consecutive days without consulting a healthcare professional.

If you are allergic to cinnarizine or other ingredients included in the tablets, you should not use these tablets.

If you have Parkinson's disease, liver or kidney issues, or porphyria without consulting your doctor, it is advisable not to use this medicine without the permission of your concerned doctor.

Stugeron can cause drowsiness. Therefore, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how the tablets affect you.

While using these tablets, you have to avoid alcohol, as it may double your drowsiness.
