Cautions

For external use only.

Avoid contact with eyes and open wounds. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

Stop using the shampoo if it causes irritation.

It may stain skin and clothing. Skin stains usually wear off after treatment is discontinued.

It contains parahydroxybenzoates, which may cause allergic reactions.

Do not use it if:

• You have had an allergic reaction to coal tar or other ingredients.

• You have an infected, open, or damaged scalp.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before using it if you are pregnant. If you do breastfeed, wash off all traces of shampoo before feeding.

Possible side effects

It can cause the following side effects in some individuals:

• Unusual hair loss

• Eczema

• Hair color changes

• Abnormal hair texture

• Sensitivity to sunlight

• Skin irritation, or rash

• Allergic reactions

If you experience severe side effects stop using the shampoo and immediately seek medical attention.

Active ingredients

Coal tar (5% w/w alcoholic extract): It works as a keratoplastic agent by removing the top layer of dead skin cells and slowing down the growth of new cells. This results in reduced scaling and dryness.

Other ingredients

Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Ammonium Lauryl Sulphate, Herbal Fragrance, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Guarhydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Patent Blue V (E 131), Propylhydroxybenzoate (E 216), Methylhydroxybenzoate (E 218), and Water.
