Treatment Information

Overview

Paracetamol 120mg/5ml oral suspension for children is used to help lower fever and relieve pain. This suspension can be used for headache, migraine, neuralgia, toothache, sore throat, dysmenorrhea, and other types of pain. Furthermore, it is proven to reduce fever and can be used as an additional treatment for colds and flu. With its gentle formula, it can be used for children to manage fevers after vaccinations.

Directions

For post-vaccination fever:

  • Give one 2.5 ml spoonful to those babies whose age is 2, 3, or 4 months up to 4 times a day, starting at the time of vaccination. Leave a gap of at least 4 hours between doses.

For common pain and fever in children:

  • To the children of age 3 to 6 months, administer 2.5 ml up to 4 times in 24 hours.

  • To the children of age 6 to 24 months, administer 5 ml up to 4 times in 24 hours.

  • To the children whose age is 2-4 years, administer 7.5 ml (5 ml + 2.5 ml) up to 4 times in 24 hours.

  • To those children whose age is 4-8 years, administer 10 ml (two 5 ml spoonfuls) up to 4 times in 24 hours.
