Otex Olive Oil is a medicine which helps remove the hardened wax from the ear canal. Its active ingredient is Olive Oil. It breaks down the hard wax to help you easily remove it from your ear. Removing the excess build-up of ear wax helps relieve the discomfort and improves hearing.
Directions
Otex Olive Oil can be easily applied directly in the ear. Follow these instructions to use it effectively:

Tilt your head slightly so that your ear is elevated.

Place the nozzle over your ear.

Squeeze the bottle to release 2–3 drops in your ear.

Keep your head tilted for 2–3 minutes.

Wipe off any surplus with a tissue.

Repeat this procedure for the other ear.

Use Otex Olive Oil 1–2 times per day. Use it for up to 2 weeks as required.

Storage

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use it after the expiration date printed on the pack.

Use within 30 days of opening it.

Replace the cap properly after use.

If you accidentally swallow large amounts of this medication, immediately seek medical attention and take the medicine pack with you.

If it gets into your eyes or nose, wash thoroughly with water.

Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using it for children under 5 years old.
- Contact your doctor or pharmacist if your condition does not improve after 4 days of use.
Do not use if:

You are allergic to olive oil.

Your eardrum is damaged or perforated.

You are using any other medication in your ears.

You have any ear problem other than excessive ear wax.

You have any ear discharge, bleeding, swelling or pain.
- You suffer from dizziness or tinnitus.

You should not use Otex Olive Oil Ear Drops if you are already using any other form of ear drops. This is because the two eye drops combined may interfere with one another and cause harmful side effects.
