What is Kliovance used for?
Kliovance is used to treat the physical symptoms of menopause such as hot flushes and vaginal dryness. It can also help prevent osteoporosis in women who have gone through menopause.
How does Kliovance work?
Kliovance tablets contain two active ingredients called oestradiol hemihydrate and norethisterone acetate. These active ingredients mimic the function of the main female sex hormones. Oestradiol is a natural form of oestrogen. Norethisterone is a manufactured form of progesterone.
As you go through menopause, your ovaries will gradually produce less oestrogen. This can cause uncomfortable physical symptoms.

How should I take Kliovance?
Take one Kliovance tablet daily with water. Try to take it at the same time each day. Once you finish a pack, start a new pack the next day without a break. You can take Kliovance with or without food.
If you forget to take a tablet, take it as soon as possible. If it is more than 12 hours later, skip the dose that you missed. Never double your dose to make up for a missed dose.
