Treatment Information

Overview

Buy Trisequens Tablets Online in the UK

Trisequens tablets are hormone replacement therapy (HRT) used to manage menopausal symptoms. You can buy Trisequens online from Click Pharmacy, a UK registered online pharmacy. Complete the online medical assessment before purchasing to ensure suitability.

What is Trisequens?

Trisequens is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) prescribed to relieve menopausal symptoms in postmenopausal women who have not had a natural period for at least 6 months. Trisequens contains two active ingredients: estradiol, a form of oestrogen, and norethisterone acetate, a synthetic form of progesterone.

Trisequens is a sequential type of HRT, meaning the 28-day pack contains different coloured tablets, each with varying hormone levels. The tablets should be taken every day in the correct order to ensure continuous symptom relief.

Symptoms of Menopause

Menopause can cause a range of symptoms due to the decline in oestrogen levels. These symptoms vary in severity for each woman but commonly include:

  • Hot flushes
  • Night sweats
  • Mood changes
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Vaginal dryness
  • Reduced libido
  • Joint and muscle pain
  • Memory and concentration issues

These are some of the menopausal symptoms that some women may experience, and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) like Trisequens may help provide relief.

How does it work?

Trisequens works by supplementing the hormones that naturally decline during menopause, such as oestrogen and progesterone. It contains estradiol, a form of oestrogen, which helps restore oestrogen levels and alleviate symptoms like hot flushes, night sweats, and vaginal dryness. However, oestrogen alone can cause the uterine lining to thicken, increasing the risk of complications.

To counter this, norethisterone acetate, a synthetic progesterone, is included to regulate the uterine lining and reduce the risk of endometrial hyperplasia. By following the 28 day sequential cycle, Trisequens ensures a controlled hormone balance, providing consistent symptom relief.

Directions

Trisequens dosage

Trisequens comes in a 28-day pack with three different types of tablets, each containing specific hormone levels. The tablets should be taken every day without interruption.

  • Days 1-12 (Blue tablets): Contain estradiol 2 mg.
  • Days 13-22 (White tablets): Contain estradiol 2 mg and norethisterone acetate 1 mg.
  • Days 23-28 (Red tablets): Contain estradiol 1 mg and serve as placebo tablets.

To ensure effective symptom relief, take one tablet at the same time each day with water. Once a pack is finished, start a new pack the next day without a break. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed tablet and continue as normal.
