Duraphat fluoride toothpaste is used to prevent and reverse dental issues. It is a high-fluoride toothpaste that helps to treat tooth decay and cavities. For people who are at high risk of developing dental problems, this toothpaste is an ideal option.
Duraphat toothpaste reverses tooth decay and dental caries caused by smoking, drinking, a high-sugar diet, and poor oral hygiene. It not only reverses the damage but also protects teeth from further decay. This toothpaste contains sodium fluoride as the active ingredient which removes plaque from teeth and rebuilds the enamel.
Directions
Duraphat fluoride toothpaste is suitable for adults and children 16 years and above. This toothpaste is not your regular toothpaste and should not be used as a normal toothpaste. Use this product as directed.

Apply a length of 2cm of the paste on your toothbrush.

Start brushing vertically in up and down motion, from your gums to your teeth.

Keep brushing for up to 3 minutes.

Spit it out. Make sure not to swallow due to the high fluoride content.

Brush your teeth with Duraphat Fluoride 3 times a day after every meal.
Cautions

Do not swallow. In case of accidental swallowing, you may feel nauseated, have abdominal pain, or experience diarrhea.

Due to its high fluoride dose, avoid using other fluoride products.

Prolonged use of fluoride toothpaste can lead to minor swallowing of fluoride over time and can cause staining of the tooth.

Ingredients
The active ingredient in each tube of Duraphat fluoride toothpaste is Sodium Fluoride (2800ppm or 500ppm).
The other ingredients are Sorbitol solution (E420), dental type silica (E551), macrogol 600 (E1521), tetra potassium pyrophosphate (E340), xanthan gum (E415), sodium benzoate (E211), sodium lauryl sulfate, menthol, propylene glycol, carvone, spearmint oil, peppermint oil, anethole, and vanillin, saccharin sodium (E954), brilliant blue FCF (E133) and purified water.
