Where is the best place to inject Mounjaro?

They may suggest continuing or lowering your dose to improve your tolerance. It’s important not to increase your dosage until you’re ready. When to increase dose of mounjaro?

You can consider increasing your Mounjaro dosage if you've been on your current dose for at least four weeks, have no side effects and stopped losing weight - indicating a potential plateau. If you experience significant side effects at your current dosage, it might be best to reduce the dose instead of increasing it. Always consult your healthcare professional before making any changes to ensure it's a safe and appropriate decision for your weight loss journey.

Can I take my dose of Mounjaro a day early?

Mounjaro can be taken a day early, but it's not generally recommended. It's best to administer one injection of Mounjaro on the same day each week, as advised by the manufacturer, Eli Lilly. However, you can change your injection day as long as at least three days have passed since your last dose.

Can you take Mounjaro if you have no gallbladder?

Yes, you can take Mounjaro if you don't have a gallbladder. However, it's important to inform us of your medical history and any other medications you're taking to ensure this treatment is suitable for you.

Can I take Mounjaro if I don't have diabetes?

Mounjaro is sometimes prescribed for weight loss in people without diabetes. You can use Mounjaro for weight loss if your BMI is over 30. You can also be prescribed Mounjaro if your BMI is over 27 and you have certain health problems, such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, sleep apnea, or high cholesterol.

How to store Mounjaro?

You can keep Mounjaro unrefrigerated and in room temperature for up to 21 days. Alternatively, you may keep it refrigerated in temperatures between 2°C to 8°C. 

How long can Mounjaro be out of the fridge?

Mounjaro can be kept out of the fridge at room temperature for up to 21 days, but it should not be exposed to temperatures above 30°C. Beyond this time or if exposed to higher temperatures, it should be disposed of properly. Keep it away from direct sunlight and heat to maintain its effectiveness.

Does Mounjaro affect the contraceptive pill?

Can you drink alcohol while using Mounjaro?

It's not recommended to drink alcohol while taking Mounjaro. Although it doesn’t directly interact with the medication. Alcohol can worsen side effects like nausea and vomiting. Is Mounjaro better than Wegovy?

Can you take Orlistat with Mounjaro?
