Treatment Information
Overview
Bonjela junior gel is used to treat mouth ulcers in children. The ingredients contained in this gel help to relieve pain and irritation in the mouth as well as fight infections. The two main ingredients are Lidocaine and Cetylpyridinum Chloride.
Lidocaine is a local anesthetic meaning that it numbs the area where it is applied. This relieves pain instantly. The other ingredient Cetylpyridinum Chloride is an antiseptic that kills bacteria and germs. With its help, the ulcer does not get infected and eventually, it is healed.
