Overview
Nurofen Day & Night Cold & Flu tablets are formulated to quickly ease cold and flu symptoms. They provide targeted relief both day and night. Each table contains 200mg of ibuprofen, a strong pain reliever that helps with body aches. It also has 5mg of phenylephrine hydrochloride to ease congestion and blocked sinuses.
This product is suitable for adults, seniors, and children aged 12 years and older. Ibuprofen fights fevers along with headaches and sore throats. Nurofen Day & Night Cold & Flu targets a range of issues like blocked nose and sinuses, fever, aches and pains, headaches, sore throat, and migraines.
Directions
For oral administration and short-term use only.
Take the lowest dose for the shortest time necessary.
Swallow two tablets with water up to three times a day.
Leave at least four hours between doses and do not take more than six tablets in any 24-hour period.
Do not chew the tablets.
It is important to drink plenty of fluids when suffering from colds and flu.
If symptoms persist or worsen, or if new symptoms occur, consult your doctor.
Do not take Nurofen Day & Night Cold & Flu for longer than 10 days without consulting your doctor.
Do not give to children under 12 years.
Cautions
Do not take if you:

Are allergic to ibuprofen, phenylephrine hydrochloride, aspirin, other painkillers, or any other ingredients.
-
Have had stomach ulcers, perforation, or bleeding.
-
Have had worsening of asthma, skin rash, itchy runny nose, or facial swelling when taking similar medicines.
-
Have gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation with NSAIDs.
-
Are taking more than 75mg of aspirin a day.
-
Have severe liver or kidney problems.
-
Have heart problems, high blood pressure, or blood coagulation disorder.
-
Have breathing difficulties or an overactive thyroid.
-
Are taking or have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) within the last 14 days.
-
Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
-
Are under 12 years old.
-
Have an enlarged prostate.
Consult a doctor before taking if you:

Have asthma, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, heart attack or stroke history, liver, kidney, or bowel problems.

Are a smoker or pregnant.
-
Have diabetes, glaucoma, or a blood vessel disease.
Stop taking and seek immediate medical help if you experience:
Intestinal bleeding, serious allergic reactions, kidney problems, aseptic meningitis, DRESS syndrome.
Possible side effects:
Uncommon: Indigestion, heartburn, stomach pain, allergic reactions, headaches.
Rare: Flatulence, diarrhea, constipation, vomiting.
Very rare: Drop in blood pressure, irregular heartbeat.
Worsening of asthma, swelling, high blood pressure, heart failure, heart attack, colitis, Crohn’s disease, difficulties in passing urine (in men).
