Overview
Robitussin Chesty Cough is a medication that treats chesty cough. Its active substance is guaifenesin which belongs to a class of medications called cough expectorants.
It works by making the unproductive cough a more productive one. It also reduces the frequency of coughing.
Directions

Take the medication by mouth.

Take 10 ml up to 4 times per day as necessary.
- Measure the dose using the dosing cup provided in the pack.

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Do not use after the expiration date printed on the bottle.
Cautions

For oral use only.

Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

It is not appropriate for children below 12 years.

Tell your doctor if you are taking any medications including over-the-counter and herbal products.
- Talk to your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 7 days of use.
Do not use if:

You are allergic to any of its ingredients.
- You have a history of asthma.

Active ingredients
Guaifenesin (100 mg per 5 ml of medicine): An expectorant which increases sputum.
Other ingredients
Glycerol, carmellose sodium, sodium benzoate (E211), sodium cyclamate, ethanol (96%), levomenthol, maltitol, sorbitol solution (70%), natural cherry flavour, citric acid anhydrous, caramel (E150), acesulfame potassium, and purified water.
