Treatment Information
Overview
Anusol cream is an ointment designed to treat piles or haemorrhoids. Its three-way action formula is used to relieve symptoms of swelling, itching and irritation. Anusol cream can be used for both internal and external piles so you are always covered when you need it the most.
Anusol has three components which can be used to treat piles. The first is Zinc, which is an antiseptic that assists in preventing the growth of bacteria in the affected area and assists in the reduction of inflammation. The next one is Balsam Peru which is a mild antiseptic that will help to protect your sore areas. The third ingredient is Bismuth oxide which is an astringent and antiseptic that helps in preventing the skin around the affected area near the anus from getting irritated.
Directions
-
Massage the cream on the affected area before going to bed in the morning and after each bowel movement for improved and enhanced relief.
-
When using the cream, it is advised that you apply it lightly and spread it thinly on the skin.
-
For external piles, one should wash and dry the surrounding region before applying the cream.
-
In internal piles, you have to wash and dry the affected area and then use the nozzle that is provided and then pump the cream into your anus.
-
After use, clean the nozzle and before and after applying Anusol cream, ensure that your hands are clean.
