How to use Proctosedyl ointment?
Always use Proctosedyl Ointment exactly as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist.
For external piles:
- Wash your hands before application.
- Squeeze a small amount of ointment onto your fingertip.
- Gently apply Proctosedyl to the affected area around the anus up to three times daily.
- Wash your hands again after application.
For internal piles:
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Attach the provided applicator nozzle onto the tube.
- Gently insert the nozzle into the back passage.
- Squeeze the tube gently as you slowly withdraw the nozzle.
- After application, remain in a comfortable position for 1 to 2 minutes to allow absorption.
