Germoloids Cream is a Triple Action formula that gives quick and fast relief from the symptoms of haemorrhoids (piles). It provides a local anaesthetic effect to pain, relieves itching and reduces pile size.
Lidocaine hydrochloride, is a local anaesthetic included in the formulation of Germoloids
Cream that provide relief to the pain, itching and general discomfort that are associated with haemorrhoids.
This water based cream formula has been developed in order to control your symptoms by moisturising and soothing the affected skin.
Germoloids cream also has zinc oxide which reduces the size of the swollen haemorrhoids and also guards inflamed and sensitive skin against infection.

Adults and children aged 12 years and above can use this product.

Before use, ensure that the tube seal is not cracked.

To remove the seal, peel from the tag.

In the case of external haemorrhoids, apply the cream on the affected area of the body.

In the case of internal haemorrhoids screw the applicator nozzle onto the tube and apply a thin layer of the cream on the outside of the nozzle to facilitate application. Gently, place the applicator in the hole of the anus. While applying this, one has to press the tube slightly while pulling out the nozzle slowly such that the cream is gently pushed up the anus.

Cap should be replaced firmly after using the product. It is also important to always ensure that the tube of cream, cap and nozzle are clean.

Use the cream on the affected area at least twice daily with at least 3 to 4 hours’ gap between the two applications. Additional applications are possible at any time of the day, and it is especially advisable to do so after defecation.

This cream should not be used more than 4 times in a day.

Germoloids Cream is not suitable for children below the age of 12 years; however, its use in children may be done under the direction of a doctor.

Germoloids Cream is intended for application in and around the anus.

Avoid contact with your mouth or have it swallowed. If cream is accidentally ingested, go to the nearest Accident and Emergency Department.
If you are allergic to zinc oxide or lidocaine or any other components of the product, this cream is not suitable for you.

Consult your doctor if you have severe or recurring haemorrhoids before using this cream.

It is not suitable for you if you experience excessive bleeding.

Pregnant or breast-feeding women also use this cream but it is advisable to consult your doctor before use.

The cream contains the compound methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218) which is known to have an allergen effect.
Ingredients include: Zinc oxide (6.6% w/w) and lidocaine hydrochloride (0.7% w/w), white soft paraffin, emulsifying wax, methyl hydroxybenzoate (E218), methyl salicylate, butyl hydroxybenzoate and water.
